Gut Health Insights
Our gut is linked to our brain by the Vegus Nerve which is a superhighway of thousands of nerves sending messages at lightening speed. Some originate in the gut and some in the brain. Most of our dopamine and seretonin are made in our gut. Our GLP-1 hormone which regulates our hunger signals, blood sugar levels and so much linked to our weight is in our gut. I like to think of it like the command centre more than our brain!
